Participate in the infoseminars around Estonia September - October 2011

This year Sillamäe Society for Child Welfare with Tallinn Sport and Youth Department, Vaivara Commune Administration and Peace Child Estonia will carry out project „Volunteer for Tomorrow – Homne Vabatahtlik“ http://vabatahtlik2011.sscw.ee, supported by European Commission. The project takes place in the framework of European Year of Volunteering 2011 and the purpose of the project is to raise awareness of volunteering itself and empower young people to become volunteers.
 
The project includes:
1. Information seminars in each county
2. Three part conference series in Tallinn
3. Young Volunteer Action Week across Estonia from 24.-30.10.2011
4. The completion of several electronic resources.

The project’s info seminars will take place:
05. September in Põlva.
06. September Võru,
07. September Valga,
08. September Viljandi
21. September Haapsalu
22. September Kärdla
26. September Kuressaare I part
27. September Rapla
28. September Pärnu
30. September Türi
01. October Kuressaare II part

In the seminar general information about the project is given, alongside introducing opportunities to participate as a volunteer and conducting different interactive exercises and games. In the seminar catering is guaranteed and participants are covered transport costs 100%. Best seminar participants are invited to partake free of charge (all expenses paid) conference series. Seminar’s additional purpose is to encourage young people to create practical projects to carry out in their communities to be included in the Young Volunteer Action Week. Through and application round co-funding is also meant for them.
