PROJECT „VOLUNTEER FOR TOMORROW“ IS DRAWING TO A CLOSE

European Year for Volunteering 2011 has ended and with it the project “Volunteer for Tomorrow”, organized by Sillamäe Society for Child Welfare, Tallinn Sport and Youth Department, Vaivara Commune Administration and NGO Peace Child Estonia, has reached its final stretch.

The last months of the project have been devoted to the finalization of the project’s outcomes. The main strategic outcome, the youth outreach in volunteering strategy, has been posted under the following link: http://vabatahtlik2011.sscw.ee/?id=11121

The document is still open for comments and suggestions from interested sections of the public and has also seen official reviews from the Ministry of the Interior and Volunteer Work Development Agency. In the coming months it will be distributed widely across the Estonian society including all related ministries, local governmental organizations and other crucial institutions.

In addition, soon an e-lesson guide on volunteering for schools and other educational institutions will be posted on website and distributed among partner organizations.
